"It’s an old town. This was a better stay than expected and the location is great."

"I really wanted to give this hotel an excellent. The rooms were huge. The hotel is less than a year old. Beautifully appointed. Lots of staff. Great full breakfast that changed daily. The major downfall is that the room cleaning service dropped off the longer we stayed. We booked the hotel for the four nights, and by the third night, the cleaning staff stopped cleaning the room, only straightening the bed; did not replace towels. When we mentioned it to management, we were told we had to request continuous Cleaning. Nothing was mentioned to us when we checked in and there was no offer to send someone up to clean the room. Our travel companion had the same experience. Very disappointing when rest of stay and facilities were stellar."

"Easy check in process, pool with slide was amazing! Gym was always clean and had fresh water. Would stay again if we ever come back to SD!"

"The room was absolutely filthy and when I started to bring the issue to the staff's attention, I was looked at like I was crazy. No alternate room was suggested and since I had a very important appt, I felt forced to deal with the issue. I was also overcharged on my credit card once I checked in with hidden fees. "

"I got a call from the property about an hour before check in letting me know they had double booked and I wouldn’t have my room available. Their team sprang into action and booked me a room at a neighboring property and refunded the reservation cost. In addition to the stay being at no cost, they even sent over a gift basket. Their actions proved to me that they truly put the customer first, even if they aren’t able to accommodate at their property. Amazing service recovery! You have earned a life long customer."
