Theaters are within easy walking distance, and there are many excellent restaurants within walking distance, a grocery store downstairs and a CTA station nearby. The host gave clear and prompt directions for entry to the property.Great place to use as a base to explore Chicago.”

The location is close to the L and bus lines which made it very convenient for us to get around. “My daughter and I stayed at this property in March 2025. We found it comfortable, as described and clean. Loved having a washer/dryer combo! The view is nice- it’s the lake! It’s convenient to get on the subway a couple blocks over, there is a little grocery store right next door, and getting into the building is a breeze. (There are dogs in the building-just FYI)Overall, a great place for a stay in Chicago! ”

“Stayed here for a weekend to explore Chicago and this place was perfect. House was clean, well kept and has a great layout. The location is also perfect for exploring the greater Chicago area. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“Jorie was wonderful she was really helpful with navigating the area and finding food. She was also very accommodating and made tasty popcorn. And although it’s a shared space she was very happy to offer what ever was needed to make you comfortable I really enjoyed her company and staying in her house only downside is the fire station which isn’t too bad just they are there but the location is great the bus to get downtown is right outside the building and to get to most attractions is just a 2-3……

“Spacious place to stay with friends. Place was very clean and nicely laid out. Separate bedrooms gave quiet spaces for people that wanted to head to bed earlier than others. Couch also made a comfortable sleeping arrangement. Only complaint is there were not enough linens stocked for the advertised number of guests, even though we didn’t have the max occupancy. I would absolutely book this place again in the future. ”
