“Very friendly staff right in town Nora Barry’s house literally across the road and around the corner to Sid’s cafe ,room was lovely bed comfortable and charging ports in the bedside lamps . Well presented breakfast very tasty would definitely stay here again”

“A pub with 4 rooms with real character, comfortable bed and surprisingly quiet overnight despite being at a road junction as it is a small village off the main road. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice for both carnivores and veggies, all freshly prepared, but only served 8.30-9.00. The food in the evening was so good I ate there both nights I stayed there - they have a good chef who clearly prides themselves in sourcing quality ingredients and presenting them well at surprisingly……

“Everything about our stay was very good. Lovely clean room with everything we needed. Large bath with very hot water . Kettle with tea, coffee , biscuits etc , hairdryer and iron. Dinner was good and the breakfasts were freshly prepared. We enjoyed our drinks in the bar and the prices were very reasonable. Staff Lovely and friendly, will certainly think of returning. ”

“Nice place above a nice bar. Had some food and it was fine and a few drinks. Nice atmosphere and well situated in the town. Room was fine, settee was a bit big for the room but you can see what they are trying to do. Young woman who showed us round was nice and so too the young woman at breakfast.”

“A good value stay, nice room and a good breakfast. All staff helpful and friendly. Only space for 7 petrol cars (plus 2 EVs and 1 disabled space) directly on site. But enough free roadside parking and apparantly some other spaces in a site over the road. We were in the car park on night 1 and on the road on nights 2 & 3.”
