"It was clean and spacious. The pans for cooking didn’t have any scratches. The bathroom had many great amenities including a big soaking tub and a shower with a rainfall type spout. Also, location was excellent, right next to longs drugs and close to the major outdoor malls."

"The property was close and convenient without being in a loud part of the city. The room and common areas were clean. The only complaint would be that there was either renovations or really loud guest above us moving furniture around early. I really think it was other guest. "

"The staff were absolutely excellent and the room while dated was clean and comfortable and the bed was fairly new.
The biggest problem in this area is the high number of homeless population, many with mental illness. The multiple engagements I saw hotel security staff having with them were nothing short of very confrontational and gave a very unsafe sense about the entire area, Due to the quantity and the level of drug addiction in this homeless population, I would not recommend booking a hotel in this area again."

"Monica was wonderfully responsive when we had questions. Comfortable beds, and unit was well-supplied with everything we needed for our stay. Thoughtful touches included disposable rain ponchos and beach towels. Loved the balcony with view of mountains and the canal. "
"I cannot say enough great things about this place and about Gerri!! It was clean and just our perfect little home away from home. Very cozy and so nice and cool, A/C’s were a lifesaver during this hot summer weather! The location couldn’t have been better, right in town yet so easy to get on the road and out of town. Gerri shows the true aloha spirit! So kind and beyond flexible with us as we had to extend our stay. When we come back to Waikiki we will not hesitate to stay here again! Mahalo!!"
"The Waikīkī tower at the Ala Moana Hotel is undergoing renovation. This Luana Vacation rental has recently been refreshed. Bright colors and updated furniture really have improved this property. Good value for the money "

The space is great, we were able to make easy meals at the condo and save money on our stay--kitchen had everything we needed. Air conditioning worked great. Laundry is easy and convenient, kids loved the pool! Many thanks!"

"Dan is an excellent host. Very responsive to any issues. The place was clean, located in a good area that is in walking distance of pretty much anything you’d want to do in Waikiki. There were also a couple beach chairs, boogie boards and a cooler available which was great for going to the beach. We made use of the well-equipped kitchen to prepare breakfast and picnic lunches to take to the beach. Definitely great for those looking for a place that allows you to spread out a bit more than a hotel room."

"We stayed for 8 nights in early July. Family of 4 with 18 and 22 year old. Dan the owner was extremely responsive and helpful. His description of the property is accurate. It is in a great location walking distance to the Food Pantry grocery and to quick markets as well as the food truck park. We also walked to the restaurants and shops about 15-20 min away for a nice evening meal and shopping. For car rental next door in the Monarch Hotel lobby you can rent through 808smartcar. They are a great deal and you get a deal on parking 25 instead of 50 dollars a night. The cars aren't the latest and greatest but they get you around. Our best part of the unit was the Balcony, roomy and breezy. Laundry is at the end of the hall. Beach supplies are great and we did use the chairs, we went to Waikiki beach which is about a 15 minute walk go further down behind the Army Museum ( a must visit and free!) the beach is nice there and has a great cocktail stand run by the military on the beach. Our favorite beach was Waimanalo Beach Park, lots of parking and a local gem. "
