8/10 Good

"This was the best check-in experience in my entire life. I have traveled a lot. I arrived late due to a change in flights. I had called in advance, letting them know I would arrive late - booking two rooms. When I walked in the door at midnight, Logau handed me two room keys. Everything was already set. No forms, not credit card, nothing. Just go to your room. Wonderful. The next morning, the fire alarm woke us up at 8:15. Apparently, not an unusual occurrence - according to other guests that I spoke to. I had put the do not disturb sign on my door - but as we were leaving our room, we asked some staff cleaning the room next door to clean ours. Apparently, they didnt understand and the room was never cleaned. But we were happy with the hotel. The breakfasts are good. The hotel is clean. All the front desk people are great. A small but reasonable gym room. Parking is fine. Convenient to Madison and the airport."

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is going to be renovated in December, so everything wasn’t in top shape. The grounds were not kept up, there were building materials in the form of a pallet of pavers right as you pull into the parking lot. Next to that was an awful, large pile of landscaping debris smack dab in the middle of the lawn. The hotel common areas were in acceptable condition, however the room was dated. The a/c was non operational, so there was a large portable unit next to the bed which made it difficult to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The vent hose had gaps and let in cold air, which was uncomfortable. The room was dated, but was comfortable as far as the furniture except the bed which was mushy. With the understanding that a renovation is in the works, I found it acceptable and plan to stay there again after said renovations are completed. I found the location and proximity to a good restaurant very favorable and the highway noise was minimal. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family."

8/10 Good

"I was happy with the cleanliness, and that there was a working fridge and microwave in our room! Our room appeared to have pretty new paint and flooring--the light surround was hanging down in the bathroom, but that did not affect our stay really. The building was clean, and was non-smoking. The one thing I will give a heads-up--they did cut off our building/room key before actual check-out time (we had a busy day the day before and slept in--we took one load out to the car about 10:45 AM, and could not get back into the building or room to get our last load--it was several minutes before 11 AM. The front desk did re-activate our card...but that took time and minutes while the kids were waiting. Not a huge deal; but just so you know--if you can leave someone inside to let you back in!). I'm not sure what time they actually de-activate the key cards, but yeah, that was really our only issue. :)"
