“My place to stay!”

“I booked Hotel Villa Rica because the rate was reasonable for my stay in Rio. Based on the listing, I wasn’t expecting a luxury hotel, but I was disappointed by the overall condition of the property. The first room I was assigned was spacious, but the bathroom—particularly the shower—did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned, and the furniture was extremely dated and heavily worn. The bed consisted of what felt like a thin mattress topper on a platform and was very uncomfortable. After speaking……

“Very nice! The hotel is not located in the beach area, but is 1minutes way to the metro station, half an hour to the Ipanema! The service is good ,especially the breakfast!”

“La situation n’est pas idéale car le quartier de Lapa est assez dangereux. La rue est très très bruyante toute la nuit. La literie est en mauvaise état et les sanitaires assez vieux… Un hôtel pour des jeunes qui veulent faire la fête mais pas pour des familles recherchant le confort.”

Nos asignaron una habitación cuadruple superior que tenía 2 habitaciones, 1 con cama matrimonial y la otra con 2 camas, y un baño privado, cómoda y bien decorada el problema es que estaba al frente sobre la calle y era impresionantemente ruidosa, música fuerte de los puestos de la calle, tránsito, bocinas todo el tiempo hasta tardicimo en la noche y temprano en la mañana, gente a los gritos en la calle, un infierno realmente,……

“O custo benefício é ótimo, equipe super educada e atenciosa. Muito bom café da manhã. A Localização agrada quem vem a trabalho para região da Lapa, ou quem curte toda agitação das ruas no entorno. O Centro do Rio, nessa região, apesar de super movimentada, principalmente, nos finais de semana, pode assustar a quem não está adaptado à zona que é a Lapa, muitos estabelecimentos fechados, patrimônio histórico degradado, à excessão de muitos revitalizados bem na Av Mende Sá e adjacências. Mas um……

“Breakfast was delicious. Reasonable internet for remote work, including wifi in the lobby downstairs if your partner is also working. The staff was very helpful and the location is great. Would recommend and we'll be back ourselves”
