“ This hotel had many wonderful reviews, which is why my boyfriend and I decided to stay here. Unfortunately, our experience was not what we expected. When we first entered the room, we immediately noticed several issues. The air conditioner was leaking water onto the floor, the restroom had no fan, and there were no small towels for bathing. The room itself was also very small. Another inconvenience was that there was no iron in the room—the iron and ironing board are located on the 10th floor,……

“The hotel staff were kind, helpful and professional. The location made it easy to navigate Rio, and was literally steps from Copocobana beach. The rooftop amenities were also very nice with beautiful views. My only comment is some of the equipment in the fitness center could use an upgrade. Also, the rooftop bar closes rather early, i. e. 7pm. But overall I really liked this hotel.”

They assisted me to my room and checked in on me multiple times throughout my stay. Great amenities and fantastic breakfast options. I highly recommend and I’ll be back at the Sheraton Grand for my next visit to Rio de Janeiro.”

“Don't go to that hotel; it's under construction and the rooms are tiny. The shower fluctuates between hot, cold, and scalding water, and the room key cards only work when they feel like it. Also, don't drink the water in the fridge—they charge an arm and a leg for it later. It was the worst experience, and there's only one elevator for 13 floors.”
