Waking up in the morning to the view over a beautiful garden beyond the lake to Skiddaw was an extra treat as each morning there was a new ever changing Lake District vista. I'll definitely be back! "This is the best hotel I have stayed in for a very long time. Every single detail was perfect. Staff were attentive, room and property beautifully maintained and clean. Food was amazing. Spa was so relaxing and enjoyable. We will certainly be back. Only tiny thing I would change if I could - free parking for guests. That’s all. £12 a night was a bit expensive when we had two nights. Still amazing and all the positivities out weighed that."
