“Everyone on the hotel staff was so nice and made us feel at home. The hotel was beautiful with wonderful views of the city. The pool deck was really nice and relaxing. Our spa services were outstanding!”

“We have stayed at The Vine on numerous occasions now and we love it. The rooftop pool area is lovely and the food is really good. All the staff are friendly and really helpful and smiley. We had a junior suite this time which was spacious and the bed was super comfortable with beautiful linen. Great breakfast choice as well. One suggestion would be to get rid of the pebble flooring in the bathroom area, it is really uncomfortable to walk on.”

“Really interesting building, with access to the various levels via external escalators. An intriguing Bond villain vibe! The staff were all lovely, facilities were very good, and the rooms were simple but pleasant. The spa area was sometimes a little understaffed, but the pool was very nice and clean, with beautiful views. The restaurant was excellent, as was the breakfast. Overall a really nice stay!”

“Due to glitch in the reservation system, the hotel was overbook. We were transported by hotel's shuttle to their other property Hotel Quinta Mirabella. Beautiful hotel with excellent views. Every was perfect there.Little bit further from the centre of Funchal, but the hotel provided the shuttle few times per day. There was also bus stop around the corner - very convenient .”
