"We had a clean and comfortable room, although no soap in our bathroom. Loved the eating area for breakfast. It was large, quiet, and aesthetically pleasing. The food area was not cramped or too close to tables. "

The restaurant could be wonderful, but they were out of a lot of things. The property is beautiful but the staff were rude. The Berkeley is so close to being wonderful. "

"Air conditioner good. Bed creaked so badly we had to put the mattress on the floor to sleep. Flood lights shone through windows with difficulty drawing curtains and blinds inoperable. Bath clean and supplied. Furniture worn and needs repair. Hair dryer very old and weak. Noise from below invaded. Nice try for history but not worth the price. "
