Mount Pleasant Home ubicado a 10 minutos de las playas y del centro de Charleston.

Bienvenido a "SeaJoy" como lo llamamos. Este dúplex recientemente actualizado se encuentra en Mount Pleasant, justo entre la isla de Sullivans (10 minutos en coche) y el centro de Charleston (10 minutos en coche). Si está familiarizado con Charleston, tendrá dificultades con Shem Creek. The duplex was exactly as pictured and as described. We were pleased with the cleanliness and everything we needed was provided. The location was perfect for our needs. It was only about 20 minutes to the airport and that was the longest distance we had to drive. Most places we went were 7 to 10 minutes drive. The host was very communicative and accommodating. Definitely recommend.

I cannot say enough about the host and this property! Everything was so easy to navigate! From checking in to any questions I had, the host was so responsive and friendly. It made the trip that much better, truly. The place itself was incredibly clean too!! It’s the perfect place to stay if you’re wanting to do the beach and Charleston in one go. My friend and I were there for about two weeks and I will definitely book here again.

Highly recommend this property. Great location, convenient to beach, shopping, dining and downtown. Very quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed the privacy of the backyard. Very nicely done and relaxing. Duplex is equipped with everything you need. Definitely will look to rent again on our next trip to Charleston.

Check in was easy and when we arrived the place looked fine. Then we saw biggest palmetto bug I've ever seen ran by in the living room. It had been raining, so I understand that that can happen. Once we killed it we noticed a few other bugs as well. The host said the property was serviced by pest control. We looked around the house to see if any other bugs were hiding. That's when we saw wads of hair in the corners of the bathroom and bedrooms. It was as if the floors were only cleaned in the center and hair and debris was just pushed into corners. We saw smeared makeup on the walls and doors. The next morning we noticed a dirty rag hanging from the shower rod and the curtain also had makeup and dirt all over it. The shower wasn't well cleaned at all. It had gray green mold all around. I contacted the host and he apologized and said the cleaners would come the next day to address the issues. He told me a bachelorette party was there before us so that's why it was so dirty. I asked to confirm the time the cleaners would come. We set a time and the next morning they did now show. I contacted the owner about 20 mins after they didn't arrive. After a back and forth between him and the company they told him they'd be at least an hour late. We had already waited and did not want to derail our day so we had to just leave and cancel them. As a gesture, the host sent me a 40 refund and said I should go get some lunch. I requested a partial refund and the host denied the request.

Everything was great. It was just what we needed. Location was fabulous and close to everything. Only two negatives, 1) grill did not work 2) the neighbor was on the patio smoking a few times a day and we are not those type of people.

Love this little cutie!

Took my youngest daughter to hang out with her big sister for a few days in Mt Pleasant. This house was perfectly situated near everything we could need. Easy to get to Shem Creek, King Street, beaches etc with lots of food and shopping close by. Very clean and safe location. I will rent again!

Amazing weekend in Mount P

We have a really large family and couldn’t fit everyone in the sullivans island house so I went with this property to hold 4 of us and it was perfect distance to EVERYTHING. 5-10 minutes to sullivans, 10-15 minutes to Charleston, 5 minutes to shems creek. The host was really easy to get ahold of, property was clean inside and outside, had everything we needed inside the household which is always a bonus. Thank you, Robert.

Our stay at Seajoy in Mt. Pleasant was very nice. The unit has been updated and is in good condition. The outside sitting/deck area was very cute and nicely done. There were just a couple of small things that weren’t so great. For one, the shower curtain liner needed to be washed or replaced, but this is a small oversight. Additionally, the mattresses were a little firm, but that’s a personal preference. Overall, the stay was pleasant and we would book this unit again.

Quaint little house

My husband and son (10 months) stayed at this quaint location which was easy to get to and from airport, beach, and downtown Charleston. The neighbors were respectful and quiet. The parking was easy. Kitchen is equipped with supplies. Laundry is a bit loud and the door was broken but that was listed in the guest log so we knew what to expect. Very cute backyard/patio area for hanging out.

A very pleasant visit

We enjoyed the property and the location. A very pleasant surprise was the restaurant Lola‘s, a Cajun restaurant directly across the street from the properties location. Also enjoyed the private fenced in backyard. We took advantage of using the beach chairs, but didn’t get a chance to try out the grill this trip.The only minor inconvenience is that you have a shared front porch and many times during our stay, the next-door neighbor who owns the property would sit out front right in front of our windows and smoke. He was a very nice gentleman, but as I say a minor inconvenience
