Excellent Vacation Home

This house is perfect for a vacation in OBX. The owners were extremely easy and polite to communicate with prior to arrival which made the check-in and check-out process very simple. Additionally, the house has everything you would need for a fun, relaxing week at the beach. We would definitely stay at this home again.

Great place for family vacation

The home was clean and beautiful,the pool was great to relax in when you need a break from the beach. This house was well supplied with beach supplies and cooking supplies. The area was layed back and not crowded like other beaches, and the house is a short walk to the beach. Over all five stars. My family had a great time and we are already discussing staying there again.

Relaxing get away.

This house was everything we wanted. Quiet street, close to beach, stores, things to do, and food. It’s a great place to gather with friends and family! Easy check in/out process. Communication with host was perfect.

The location was great if you are looking for a quiet, family beach experience. The home had enough space for everyone to hang out without feeling crowded. The owner's do provide a wagon, however, going up and over the dunes was no easy task. The wagon is perfect for packed and/or solid surfaces but not the loose sand. A couple of downsides for us: 1. We thought we would have had more of a view by the description. 2. The kitchen does lack utensils and storage containers, especially if one chooses to cook at the rental. (Ex: ice cream scoop, small spatulas, and paring knives. Little items like that to make cooking more flexible). Overall the rental was clean. We did notice that whoever was there before us had a dog as we found fur on the bed, under the comforter. Not a huge problem and one we easily took care of ourselves. The owner's were easy to communicate with and very helpful with suggestions for the area. They also went out of their way to make a rainy night delivery of extra sheets for the twin beds.The only suggestion we would offer has to do with the interior of the home in the upstairs bathroom. The closet needs some major tlc. The painted plywood walls and stained carpet really detract from the rest of the home as it felt dirty. Other than that little tidbit, everything else was great for a rental.We will definitely rent again from Travis & Nelene the next time we roadtrip to Nags Head
