Nice Overall Condo
Condo was great, plenty of room and great balcony will with good views. Beds had thin mattress pad but still need replaced, very uncomfortable and took turns sleeping on couch. Not enough towels, kitchen or bathrooms. Condo was mostly clean but a few unwanted items left from previous guest.

No frills
This is the type of beach rental for me. No frills. A pool, a view of the ocean, and a place to lay my head with a kitchen to use if I need to. The lift is literally right beside the steps to go up. You can’t miss it. The building is older as is the unit. But I don’t come to the beach to sit inside. The property manager is super responsive. The unit was very clean. Had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again! Thanks!

Wonderful Stay!
This was our second stay at Steve's place. It was clean and comfortable. We had a couple of small issues and Anna, the property manager, was promptly on it. The views are spectacular and the beach access can't be beat. There are a lot of stairs to get up there, but the luggage lift is so helpful. It's also nice to know the owner is doing updates and listens to feedback. The beds were super comfortable and I slept so well. I hope we can make it back again next year!

Great condo with beach view
This is a great condo to stay in. We were there for two weeks. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, glasses, and cooking utensils. The balcony is shady with a nice view and there are sturdy Adirondack chairs in front and back to watch sunrise/sunset. Our host answered all our questions promptly.

Nags head
Place was nice. However there wasn’t much in the way of cleaning supplies. Also wasn’t told what to do with the garbage. Also didn’t remember seeing that there wasn’t an elevator and had to climb to the 3rd floor. Also never found the “luggage carrier” that was named in the checkin instructions

Wonderful Stay
We loved our stay at PierView! The check in process was simple and easy. The luggage lift was a huge bonus considering it's four flights of stairs. It wasn't too bad as the view from the front and back of the condo were breathtaking and worth the climb. The place was spotless when we arrived and the starter supplies of paper products and soap was much appreciated. My only suggestion is to replace the beds. I understand firm mattresses are preferred, but they were very noisy when getting up or turning over. The owner was very responsive. We had an issue with the cable remote upon arrival. The onsite property manager was there within a couple of hours and fixed the problem. She was great. The beach access is a plus also. My favorite part was the huge balcony looking at the ocean. We saw dolphins most every day. The sunsets aren't too shabby either. Overall we loved our stay and plan to return next summer.

Ocean front condo
The property is very nice, beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony, you can't beat the price. Neighbors are friendly, unfortunately the dryer was not working which was a real bummer because it's a big reason why we choose VRBO. No one even came to check it out, they just told us service wouldn't be available until after we checked out. The beds were backbreaking, time for some new mattresses.

Great week in South Nags Head!
The condo is spacious and clean. Having linens included with the rental was a huge help. The kitchen was stocked with all of the necessary items. The view from the balcony is incredible! The grounds and pool are well maintained. We can't wait to go back next year.

Great View
The location and view were great for our trip. We were disappointed that the pool won't be open until Memorial Day as it would have been nice to use it. We had an issue with the A/C but they were quick to accommodate us with a portable one the very next day, although it wasn't super hot outside.

Nice for older type building
Room had a few places looked like ceiling had leaked. Dryer wouldn't dry clothes but everything else was perfect. No complaints at all I would stay again and would tell other people to stay

The property was good for what we paid. It had oceanfront access which was really nice. There is a dumb waiter there that was not mentioned that we discovered by talking with another resident. This was really helpful getting water and heavy items up the three flights of stairs. There were dishes left in the dishwasher, we weren’t sure if we were supposed to put those away or why they were just left. We didn’t use any of the dishes during our stay as we were out more than we stayed in anyways but found them during our walk through during check in. Overall, it’s a good place to stay if you’re not looking for a lot of bells and whistles.

Occupancy was as described. It is an older property. But, it is well maintained and in a great location. Close beach access. We had a minor issue or two and the owner was always quick to respond and help. Great place for a quick couples getaway.

Convenient Location
We were very happy with this condo. Steps away from the beach and two pools. Great view of beach and ocean from the balcony. Convenient location to numerous restaurants and grocery stores. The condo is on the third floor and there are several flights of stairs to climb. However, the luggage lift does the labor for you. We would certainly stay here again

The Pier View Condo
The property was nice, it is an older property and needs a little work on the outside of the building, however the the condo we stayed in was very nice and clean. I was not aware that the condo we stayed in didn't have an elevator access, three flights of stairs was a lot when you are carrying all things to the condo. Plus it was a lot for my mother at 80, to climb, and myself at time. Note to self, double check condo has elevator.

Reasonably priced and a perfect location!!
My husband and I visit Outer Banks yearly, the only thing that wasn’t disclosed online the building our unit was in did not have an elevator. My husband recently had heart surgery so that somewhat threw a damper on things. But overall, our stay was very nice, the property was very clean and well kept.

Perfect beach getaway
The unit is in an amazing location, with great views. It is also within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the Jeannette Pier. The best part however was the beach. It was so nice to be able to walk directly onto the beach. The unit is a 3rd floor walkup which could present difficulty to anyone with mobility issues. Overall the unit was exactly what we were looking for and the owner was very responsive to our needs. We will definitely book again.

The condo was clean at first glance but a better look revealed a floss stick on a shelf, spit on a spigot, mirror had spray that hadn't been wiped off, food under the table and furniture. The towel bar would fall off if you hang a towel on it. One eye on the stove doesn't work. All and all OK but the cleaning service could do a better job.

Condo needs some updates!!
We have stayed at Pierview for 3 years now and for the most part the property itself works. However it is in need of some updates! The fixtures (towel hangers, toothbrush holder, etc) are falling off the walls, shower curtains are old and barely serve their purpose, beds are rickety and HARD. We love the PierView properties as a whole, but this one really needs some work. We booked our stay for next year prior to leaving vacation this year, but booked under a different condo. I 1000% recommend staying at PierView, but would recommend a different condo as they are all owned by different people and many are updated nicely. Oh, and it's not very well stated, but this property is up 3 flights of stairs. No elevator. But they do have a dumbwaiter for luggage.
