“Be aware that this is a almost 100-year-old property and that as such, it requires a huge amount of upkeep . In this case, I understand that the owners do not live at the property and the innkeepers are hired help. We stayed here three nights and the breakfasts were all very good . The rooms are quite variable in size and our room was reasonably clean. Older Windows may not open and there is no HVAC and heating is done through radiators. Therefore the air may seem (and be) a little stagnant,and……

But when we wiped all the surfaces table, counters and dresser they clearly were not cleaned before our arrival.
