Top Ocean View Hotel Reviews
Kona Coast Original Beach Boys 9.5 acre Estate, Pool and Amazing Ocean Views
"This is a really cool property. We had a hard time finding somewhere big enough for our multigenerational group. This house gave us plenty of space to spread out. The grounds are huge and the kids enjoyed exploring and finding different fruits. The host is great, super responsive and helpful. Was a little concerned about not having central AC but it cools down at night and wasn’t bad with the windows open. The house is secluded so you definitely need a car and be prepared for a lot of driving if you plan to be out of the house."
The Marlin house
"This house was in a fun, more remote, south side of the island. We stayed there two nights to visit South Point, the green beach, as well as Volcano National Park, (which was about an hour for this home). The place was clean and updated. There was no air-conditioner, but it got cool enough at night that this wasn’t a problem. There were also no TV’s, which didn't bother us, as it sort of added to the remote, island neighborhood feel. It was fun to hear the birds and frogs come out at night, as well."
Hale Kainani: Beautiful Ocean, near Volcano, SouthPoint
"Exceptional rental. The house is clean and comfortable with anything you need and the hosts are communicative and gracious. I’m picky and I’d give this one 6 stars."
Hale-hoola B & B
"Our hosts were knowledgeable about the area and friendly. The view from our balcony (lānai) was amazing with all the lush plants and flowers. The breakfasts were delicious and hardy! We even loved the coqui frogs singing us to sleep at night!"
Big Island Yurt Adventures
"We will definitely stay here again.. there is No complaints what so ever. Amazingly beautiful and will recommend a getaway place to stay. Host is a 10."
Kona Oceanview Villa - Luxury Group House with Pool, Hot Tub, and Coastline View
"We had a wonderful stay! Charlie and Barbara are awesome hosts and communication could not have been better. You can’t beat the sweeping views and sunsets!!"
Hawaii Yurts Luxury for Less
"The yurt is clean and comfortable. Host is responsive - there was no propane for hot water and it was replaced right away. Off the beaten path…if you’re looking for solitude, you’ve found the place. Convenient to food, fuel, restaurants, etc."
Hawaii Yurt luxury for less
"A perfect, cozy little getaway not far from the lively ocean. Thanks for an amazing stay, and all of the suggestions of fun things to do on the island!"
