“Mahoning Inn is conveniently located near the resort areas of Jim Thorpe and other Pocono outdoor activities. Given its lower cost of overnight accommodation and less congestion around the property, I would recommend it for a short stay. The Inn was well maintained and clean both inside and out. We felt very safe and our needs were met with their amenities. The only downside was that the price Expedia quoted me was not the price I was charged at the front desk.”
“The room was cleaned well upon arrival. The pool area was just okay mostly due to patrons breaking the rules such as loud music, diving into the pool, smoking etc. on our second night after having been gone gone for around 15 hours, we found the door to our room open. It had been held open by reversing the latch. We had no idea how this happened or why. We check out the room and no one was there but great concern for safety and the chance of valuables being taken. I let the staff know upon check……

“The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and professional, and the property itself is a wonderful and well kept historical hotel. Even staying on a ground floor room facing the street, we had a quiet and peaceful stay, and we're able to enjoy the balcony. Parking is available, but be aware that the lot at the main property fills up, as can the closest overflow lots. This is less an issue of the hotel, and more just something that comes with visiting Jim Thorpe & it having very limited parking.……
