I have done vacation rentals in Pawleys Plantation many times and the location is wonderful. It is a beautiful gated community. This was the first time that I had to drive to pick up keys to a rental unit. It was 7 miles one way north of Pawleys plantation which was a 14 mile trip added to our already 6 hr. drive which was an inconvenience. This is a spacious one bedroom unit on the first floor with a screened in porch overlooking the golf course. It is furnished very nicely and the two queen beds were super comfortable. It says there is a pool but there were no keys in the unit so we had no access which was a disappointment as we had hoped to swim for the four days we were there. I would rent this unit again if there was a guarantee of pool access
