“We had a lovely, short stay at Finca Barlovento. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is restful and the overall feeling is very private and low-key, with a high level of service. The staff was very conscientious and accommodating. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Food offerings are good, though somewhat limited, but we were only there for a couple of days so this was not really an issue. “We had a great stay at Yachay. The staff is very caring. The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious. The hotel is surrounded by nature and therefore very relaxing. I wished there was a larger pool but we appreciated the jacuzzi and made good use of it. The hotel is very close to the entrance of the park but has some steep stairs, therefore not for people with mobility issues. You have to get tickets for the park as the hotel is inside the park. Entrance to the park is only until 3 pm so……

“Terrific property but be warned. The Agoda map location is absurdly wrong. The map in Agoda makes it look close to Minca but the actual distance is miles away. Once you get to the property you aren’t going to Minca unless you’re willing to pay 140 k pesos each way. That said I would stay again. The restaurant food is pretty good but for some reason dinner servings were just warm when they should be hot. The hikes and other activities are fun”

Rivière tout juste à côté si vous préférez. Se rendre au village à pied prend environ 15 minutes. Nous nous sommes senti en sécurité. Le petit déjeuner est inclus. On a droit à une assiette et pas de reprise. On peut se rendre aux Cascades à environ 1h30 à pied avec une bonne montée. La végétation est……

“Fantastic location just near the main restaurant street, with heaps of food options nearby and even within the hotel itself. The staff were so friendly and fantastic. The food at the restaurant, including breakfast, was delicious! The rooms are spacious and clean, great aircon and fan needed for the hot days. We went for a swim for a river next to the hotel and it was so clean and refreshing, would absolutely recommend staying here!”

“The room was very big and had a good view. I opted for the sofa bed but next I will choose doble bed. The mattress on the sofa bed was too thing and my daughter complained of the metal bothering her. The shower and bathroom were very nice. It had a big TV and many channels. The food was very good and the staff friendly.”

“Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich in Ordnung, allerdings stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider gar nicht. Das Hotel hat seine besten Jahre längst hinter sich, verlangt dafür aber sehr selbstbewusste (und für den Standort unangemessene) Preise. Der angepriesene Pool ist teilweise geschlossen und schmutzig, ein Spa gibt es (derzeit?) gar nicht. Die Umgebung ist sehr laut, dafür ist allerdings die Lage zentral und sicher. Sehr positiv ist das liebevoll zubereitete und reichhaltige Frühstück.……

“100 % recomendado, la atención de Laura es de otro nivel y te hace sentir como en casa. Está a unos 5-7 min caminando de la playa principal y los desayunos son deliciosos! Muy linda la habitación y cómoda, tienes una terraza por si quieres ver el atardecer y ofrecen almuerzos y cenas también. Volvería siempre! Gracias!”
