"Breakfast was too late for us to take advantage of it. Dirty floor in both elevators. No shampoo in the shower. Coffee pot in the room dirty, not cleaned. Telephone in the room dirty. Our room keys didn’t work the first two times they were issued then when we returned to our room later on the first day of our stay, keys didn’t work again. Desk staff stayed in the back, no staff visible at the desk. A/C in room worked properly. No fan in the bathroom so the room was very humid and sticky our whole stay. Thank God we didn’t stay here in the summer weather. Very poor rating for the amount they charged. Room rates were raised because it was graduation weekend at WVU. The wrong credit card was charged for our stay-we booked thru Hotels.com and they used a card previously used on Expedia without our knowledge. Highlight was availability of coffee in the hotel lobby. Very outdated hotel. Shower head about 6” in diameter, poor water pressure. Broke lotion dispenser on the wall in bathroom. Internet for tv wouldn’t work."

"The location is perfect for Ohiopyle and the Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural homes. Beautiful grounds. Rooms with deck. Little interaction with staff except at check in and out. This is not a complaint. The rooms have individual air/heat units and a nice size mini fridge. The bathroom was small but adequate. There are a few restaurants and a local winery within a short drive. "

"Really needed an extra hour after an event and the graciously grantes us extended stay. We were out earlier than expected but that courtesy allowed us time to change after the event before hitting the road and was much appreciated!"

"The Historic Summit Inn was an amazing stay after a day of Frank Lloyd Wright tours and cave exploring!! The front desk staff was very inviting and helpful in all aspects of our stay - from historical information about the Inn and premises to the surrounding activities in the area. All of the little details that have been restored instead of replaced, make the ambience very special and add to the charm of the whole weekend we spent in the area."
