“Room was not clean. Toilet bowl had a lot of rust stains as if it wasn't cleaned for days. Room had a strange, pungent odor. Ran out of tissues immediately. One comforter had yellow stains. The chair was very stained, not suitable for sitting. Lightbulb missing in floor lamp. Worst of all, the top drawer of the bedside stand had an empty pack of cigarettes, empty pepsi bottle, dried sticky fluid and used straw. Disgusting! Complained to manager who did promised to follow up with Expedia and call……

“For the price and a quick place to stay well travelling home this was a great place. Room was clean. It’s an older place but was clean staff were nice. Bed was comfortable. Room temp was great. Fridge was a bit loud. This is not a 4star hotel but how can you expect that when you’re paying this price. My husband and daughter were pleased with the stay.”

“The Historic Summit Inn was an amazing stay after a day of Frank Lloyd Wright tours and cave exploring!! The front desk staff was very inviting and helpful in all aspects of our stay - from historical information about the Inn and premises to the surrounding activities in the area. All of the little details that have been restored instead of replaced, make the ambience very special and add to the charm of the whole weekend we spent in the area.”

“My family and I will not be back. The room was dirty when we arrived. There was a soda cap on the floor and a half eaten Slim Jim that my 10 month old daughter picked up. The utensils in the kitchen were dirty, especially the vegetables peeler. We were going to have breakfast in our hotel but chose to eat out as a result. For the price we paid for this hotel, I was really expecting higher quality.”
