Lux Verde Hotel

8/10 Good
"This was our first visit to the Lux Verde Hotel, it is nice and the restaurant on site was excellent Italian cuisine. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The first room did have a smell of musty carpet, so they moved us to a better room. This room was better, no smell! They do have rooms that house pets too, but we did not have those rooms. The beds were very comfortable, the walk-in shower was nice. All the amenities worked (TV, Microwave, Refrig, Hair Dryer, AC, Lights). They did have receptacles for plug-ins (phones, tablets, etc). They had a nice pool and jacuzzi, which we took advantage of. Overall, it was nice, the price was right and we enjoyed our stay. I would rate it a 7...since it was not the Tajmahal; it was an older building. It could do with some updates here and there (paint/carpets mostly). We had 2 Queens, nice size TV, blackout drapes. Parked right in front of our room. Parking was sufficient for all guests. Even had a BBQ area and cornhole game, light was provided. The housekeeping came by every day to update your towels and see if you needed anything. They did not do the rooms unless asked, we did not mind, since we did our own beds. We just exchanged the towels for fresh ones. Breakfast was the Continental Menu and a little extra, such as Scramble Eggs/ Pancakes/ Oatmeal / Sausage/ Toast and Coffee. Just enough to start the day. Overall I would stay again, if the price is right. SSainz"
