“The only reason this property is not getting 5 stars from me is because the restaurant/bar was closed during the entirety of my trip. I was looking forward to dining there and enjoying a drink or two. The room was super comfortable and well appointed. I was very happy with all the staff I interacted with.”

“This is a clean and slightly older property that is only two blocks from the center of town where all the great shops are. The staff are very courteous and helpful. We had the room that had its own private pool downstairs from the bedroom suite. There is a pump room associated with the pool and it was so loud it made falling asleep difficult. We asked if it could be turned off and that wasn’t possible, but the staff did offer us some earplugs. That they even had earplugs on hand tells you……

“Location to Grandfather Mountain was great. A/C was great. Kitchen does not have some basic utensils and is not fully supplied (as advertised) - fortunately there is a Food Lion nearby where we bought what should have been supplied. Sofa and chairs did not feel clean and we put a sheet over the sofa. Beds and bed linens were good and clean. But, great place to have a family get-together to attend the nearby Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain.”
