“We booked a king suite but intentionally did not book an accessible room which was an option. We were "assigned" an accessible room upon arrival and told that "because we booked through a third party" (Expedia) we could not have a non-accessible room as " those were for guests that booked directly with the hotel" when they were overbooked. After much discussion, the manager said that they had found a non-accessible room, but it would not be ready for 30 minutes. We left and returned a little……
“The hotel is undergoing a rennovation. Dust everywhere. The staff is not properly trained to navigate the situation in the hotel. Our room had a leak in the ceiling that was dripping onto the carpet, a refrigerator that did not work, linens that did not match-each bed was different, baseball trading cards in the bag that housed the dryer, and staff at the front desk who were not trained to handle these situations when approached by them. Would not stay here again until the rennovation is……
“I was unable to stay in this room and they would not refund me. I have called the insurance I purchased too and they will not refund me. The room was ground floor, window would not close all the way and there was no lock on the window. As a solo female traveler I felt this was unsafe. Especially since the desk did not appear to monitored at night and the front door had a lock you needed to access with key card. The room also had an odd odor.”
