“Excellent cheap place to stay”

“This is the 2nd time for us staying in the yurts. Very affordable, comfy bed, cleanliness of whole property, attention to details, and beautiful location. So close to nature and owners do a nice job of providing everything you need. Lanterns, bedding, towels, toiletries, firewood, coffee. Enjoy the decorating and landscaping outside the property. There is also a gathering space with seating, games, beverages, and tv viewing. Plenty of places to gather and enjoy nature! I look forward to……

“Nice hotel with clean, well maintained rooms and friendly staff. The only hiccup was when we first checked in the key would not open the door because the batteries in the door lock were dieing. They may want to periodically change them. Breakfast was also good. I would stat here again. Also the restaurant next door (The Magnolia Soup Kitchen) was awesome.”

“The room was nice and luckily we were on the first as there is no elevator. The workout room was pathetic, with one treadmill, one elliptical, and a few dumbbells from 5 - 25 lbs. But was I was really disappointed by was the small continental breakfast.”

“There was a jacuzzi tub in our room . I was happily surprised by that until we found out it didn't work. The hot tubs outside were great. Other than the jacuzzi not working the stay was outstanding! Would absolutly stay here again. The rate was great as well.”

“Convenient, clean, very friendly staff, many nice walking paths and routes a few minutes away. The only downside is noise. During both stays, noisy trucks in the parking area started up between 6:30-7:00am and idled for at least 15 minutes before departing. If you wake up and get on the road early this is not an issue. If you’ve had a busy day and are looking to sleep in a little, this can be disruptive. Nonetheless we will still select the Best Western Black Hills Lodge when we visit the area……

“This was a great hotel, clean, safe, and very helpful and friendly staff. There’s a couple of restaurants in the hotel, Flyt steakhouse was a stand out. The food was so good, and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Deadwood.”

“5 stars all around!! I stayed here as a stop on my cross country road trip and this was by far the best place I stayed. The staff was incredibly helpful, the room was so comfortable, and the breakfast was phenomenal. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we enjoyed every part of our stay. The lobby is very comfortable and “home-y”. Overall an incredible stay!”
