“Nice place for the price.”

“Everything was clean and we really enjoyed the porch with the Delaware room. The tub is a bit high to step into (just an fyi), but the shower was nice. I recommend bringing your own shampoo etc ( we did) as they have a shampoo/body soap in one dispenser that really does not go with the rest of the room. The rest of the room was really cute and of the time period, the soap dispensers just stuck out. We received a text with the entry code with no problem and did not do breakfast, so we did not……

“The motel is on the old side. It’s a decent economy stay over. Nothing fancy at all, just basics. If you’re not going to spend a lot of time in the room, just sleep, it’s fine. Half the price of other motels. Bring your own toiletries and hair dryer.”

“Their website specifically states, “Special arrangements can be made in advance if notified before arrival”. However, the owners were absolutely non-accommodating for a very reasonable request when notified three weeks in advance.”

“The hotel is in a great location. I’ve stayed twice and both visits were enjoyable. The kids love the pool area. The rooms are clean and the free breakfast is decent. It is pet friendly. We didn’t have pets either visit, but it seems pets and non pet visitors are kept fairly separate. I saw people walking them here and there but we didn’t hear barking or deal with accidents etc. Overall, I would definitely stay again.”

“Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.”

“I was impressed when I first stepped into the building! The concierge/hostess was gracious and friendly. Actually, she was glad to see me! That made me comfortable right away. I was conscious of the facilities being on Rt. 30 and concerned about the possibility of noise. However, I slept well! I am an early riser and I knew that breakfast was served at 6:30a. Since I was a little early (6:00a) I did expect the set up to be ready. I was again greeted by a friendly hostess who invited me to……
