“At first glance we were happy with the hotel. However, when we took the kids to the pool we saw clumps of hair on the ground and in the pool. We figured it was just from some kiddos. However, when we got to our room and looked there was more hair in the sheets when we pulled them back, and on the pull sofa bed we saw white stains on the couch. The mattress on the sofa bed was also straight springs and not sleepable. I will say the person at the front desk felt horrible and was very polite.”

“I’m gonna be honest here I was a single traveler motorcycling from New Jersey up to Cleveland for the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame then down to Canton for the pro football Hall of Fame so I was not looking for a big-time hotel or massive luxury. I was just looking for a low cost accommodation, but the people they are treating me very nicely. I needed to extend my stay another night. They made it so it was easy with no issues and could not have been more pleasant about it if you’re looking just for……

“Love this place. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast buffet was very good. Parking is not a problem with a parking garage across the street. The area around the hotel is very quiet. Surprised by the exercise bike and workout station in the room. We will continue to stay here when we’re in Canton.”

“I didnt stay no elevators, no breakfast, no wifi, no nothing! No clean rooms!”

“The room was clean and nice. However in the breakfast area - the carpet was already quite stained and this is a newer hotel. Kind of gross. The front desk person was rude I felt. I went to check out and I was getting late for an appointment. The person was on the phone was laser focused on the call and did not ever look at me. Several minutes go by and still didnt acknowledge me or look at me. Finally I said " I have to go and pointed to the room key I layed on the desk. Her eyes flicked……

“5 days stay for an event. Requested enough towels for the entire stay and was only allowed the number used per day and they weren’t even clean. I had to purchase bathroom cleaner and a scrub brush to clean my own bathroom. The key card locked me out daily. I had to go to the front desk every day and have them fix it. This facility is currently going through a renovation but I canceled my upcoming stay and made reservations elsewhere. A dirty room is unacceptable let alone a bathroom.”

“We loved our stay but there was a clogged drain in the tub the entire visit and no housekeeping. You had to put a tag on your door which no one told us about. Not a usual hotel standard so how are guests to know? A heads up when we checked in would be helpful. The room was decorated in the 1980's (Think Hyacinth Bucket in Keeping Up Appearances) - it is in desperate need of an update. The property is beautiful and the hotel has great potential - we hope they make updates or it will be a true……

“The staff were wonderful! Colleen, the manager, and the other shift workers were wonderful!!!!!! The amenities could be better accessible especially because of the price and I understand that the place was renovated, but that’s another reason I expected more…the cleaning staff were good as well, but the joking, playing, and loudness from them in the hallway was very disrespectful while we’re trying to rest.”

“Absolutely one of the nicest places I habe stayed. The pool area wasn't great. But we weren't planning on swimming. Everything was fantastic. We will be returning next year.”
