“It was quiet and very comfortable. Lots of things available. The only problem would be the stairs into the house for we older people.”

We biked, fished, hiked, played golf at Manitou Passage, watched beautiful sunsets at the beach, and played games around the bonfire. Her home is so serene and well stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, and games. We would love to return to her Old Mountain home if we go back to the area. “We had a great stay at Johnny's cabin. We all cant say enough about it! The location was right in the middle of everything we wanted to see. Johnny was a great host and quick to respond. He's made some great decisions in creating his little getaway. It's definitely an older cabin, but with some interesting additions. First off, it's much bigger than you expect. Definitely big enough for 4 adults and two dogs. There is a second story that includes a separate sitting area along with the second……

“This house was perfect for our family, visiting for a wedding in nearby Suttons Bay. The place was very clean, with rustic charm and a lovely outdoor area and hot tub. We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities. There was some confusion about the number of people included in the price. I assumed that because it stated that it slept 10 that all would be included but there is a charge for each person above 6. (We had 7.) Still very much worth it and we throughly enjoyed……

“This review is based on multiple considerations. Our niece was getting married in Traverse City MI region. Our group consists of 10 people, a combination of couples and single adults. We spent significant time looking at options that would accommodate our number plus the mix of individuals. We found a nice, wooded Chalet VRBO that met our needs. We reserved it and paid our fees a month before the wedding We were over halfway in our drive to the VRBO when I received a phone call from the Chalet……

“Beautiful home, beds/furniture were very cozy, kitchen was decently stocked with basic cooking needs. Also really enjoyed the layout of the home. The walk to the beach was across a busy road, so water access isn’t necessarily right off the property but still easy to get to. I’d say overall a great place to rent - great location!”
