“The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn.”

“Arriving at the Showboat Hotel our room was not acceptably clean. The floor was sticky and covered with dirt, mini fridge had mold, and the balcony had dirt/bird droppings that was clearly not kept up with. I called the hotel desk which is not in on the weekends, after speaking with hospitality we were sent a housekeeper. “Off stree parking was easy and convenient. Check in process with David was quick and easy. Online shows a bar. However, that shut down in July. So it made the whole established look abandoned. Pretty sure there were only 2 other rooms booked besides us. There is great potential to increase revenue if the restaurant, bar, and both ballrooms were utilized. There is great potential ”
