“I wish we had more time to spend here! The cabin was well stocked and the location was out of the way, but close enough to sites and eateries ”

“We were greeted warmly at reception and upon questioning about restaurants nearby, a few were recommended and we chose one. We were impressed with the room cleanliness. Upon returning for the evening, we sat outside for a while in front of the fire pit, a nice amenity. The breakfast was also superb for its content, and the service person was very attentive. The other staff in the hallways were also cordial. We will return if we're in the area again.”

“The basic stuff was great. Check in was easy. Great area. We picked this cottage as it was close to several things we wanted to do. It is right across the street from the Railroad Museum which is awesome. Bring everything you think you might need. A few simple things would make this place a five. Coffee machine, hair dryer, thicker bigger towels, mat for your feet when you get out of the shower, extra toilet paper, extra towels(three small body towels, two wash clothes and a hand towel), maybe……

“George, the Irish wolf hound poodle mix, had the best time on his oceanfront vacation!”

“This cabin had everything we needed for a one-night pit stop up to Bar Harbor. We especially liked the rural location, the tea kettle, and stove for heat. We were able to sign into our Netflix and watch a thriller on a dark, rainy night, gathered in the living room area. We did not like that there were several large flies inside of the cabin. We killed a few that were bothering us, but even after that my nephew made a cup of tea at night and one of the flies flew into his tea cup!”

“The property was nice, the room was spacious and accommodating. The breakfast was good for a free continental breakfast wit crispy bacon each morning. The location was very convenient for Captain Fish’s cruises and Boothbay dining & shopping.”

“We had planned to stay 1 night because of scheduling. Came after dark and had no problems finding it. We left in the morning to meet a noon time engagement. Nice setting, very private.”

“Everything was very nice. Everyone was very pleasant. The only thing I will say unfortunately the screen on our sliding door blew off during the windstorm we were there the weekend. It was very foggy about a week ago, and when you walked in to the building the hallway kind of reminded me of a con bless in Home smell in our room was a very musty smell, but otherwise the day was fine. The coffee was amazing and the people were amazing what I stay there again possibly”

“Island View Inn had very nicely appointed rooms, beautiful grounds and pool and nice views of the ocean. The rooms were large and comfortable and we had a nice patio with view of the ocean. The staff were helpful with recommendations for dinner. I appreciated the coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning. My only suggestion would be to offer at least a continental breakfast in the lobby, as there were no options to pick up a breakfast nearby. We had to drive into Rockland to find breakfast……
