"Cottage was freezing. Central air was not working and only blowing cold air. Had only an electric fire place and two space heaters to warm the place. It wasn’t enough and had to close off the bedroom. Bathroom was freezing as a result. Just felt like it should be better advertised. I wanted to just leave for a hotel honestly but place was unrefundable - surprise surprise. Unadvertised cleaning fee of $50 that was a surprise charge. I should have gone to a hotel. Forgot to mention the power went out. As least the response via text was fast and it was restored. There was black ice in the driveway. Area should have been salted for safety to and around cars. Stairs to cottage were uneven, almost fell from that too. Needed automatic lights by porch to see uneven stairs better and not just by the carport. Would not recommend in winter. Maybe Spring or summer."

"Our stay was absolutely perfect. The home was comfortable, thoughtfully stocked, and had all the small details that truly made a difference. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the furnishings throughout the space. We wanted to leave a note in the guest book, but it was out of pages. We hope to be back.
