8.4/10 Very Good! (3,873 reviews)
While using the lazy river, chlorine got into my fiancé eyes, so I went to the bar to ask the bartender for a napkin. I politely greeted her and asked if I could have one. She replied, in what I perceived to be a dismissive and unfriendly tone, that she was assisting another guest and that I would have to wait until she was finished.
I understood that she was serving another guest. However, while doing so, she reached into the same container that held the napkins to get a straw for that guest, yet did not hand me a napkin, even though it appeared she could have done so in just a second. A few minutes later, my fiancé came over because she was wondering why I was taking so long. She also politely asked for a napkin and received the same response and tone.
In the end, we never received a napkin from the bartender. The interaction left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. Because of the way we were treated, we no longer felt comfortable approaching the bar for service and decided not to order any drinks there for the rest of our time in that area.
We are not complaining because we had to wait; we are disappointed by the way we were treated. A simple, courteous response or a quick gesture to hand us a napkin would have made a significant difference.
