“The room & location of property in historic Gettysburg was amazing. It was able to walk to almost everything except the battlefield. Concerns: I, (along with others) was emailed the wrong access code. Thank heavens there was a staff member who heard my multiple attempts. I also want to alert future patrons to limit their luggage. The parking lot is on an elevated hill behind the houses. There are lots of brick steps and a brick walkway to the house . Also, all luggage has to be……

“Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff did a great job. Breakfast was ok and the bath/shower area needs a little work - some patching and needs some new chaulking. Overall pretty good, we would stay here again as the price was right and location was good.”

“I do not recommend this hotel at all! Very dirty. The shower was not clean, still had leftover soap in the soap tray from the previous customers. Soap scum on shower walls and the tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Nothing was clean in this room except for the sheets. The bed spread smelled like mold. The pillows are flat and old. Everything was dusty/dirty. There are people living in this motel who obviously look like something from the Hills……

“The motel is great for the price. It is within walking distance of shops, museums, and restaurants. The room itself was clean, and the AC worked great. Unfortunately, the pool was not open, and my kids were disappointed. We got there before check-in, and the owner had no problem letting us leave our car in the parking lot and walk around town until 2 pm. We were able to self-check out by just leaving our key in the drop box since we left really early.”

“The hotel was clearly in the midst of a transition from one branding to another, so there were obvious signs of improvement going on in the building. While our room was in need of new lampshades, curtains, a smoke detector and dresser; the non carpeted areas had new flooring, the beds were comfortable (to me) with clean bedding and towels. It also seemed like problems were resolved quickly, when we noticed that in less than 24 hours the ride of the elevator had improved. This hotel is also……

“My husband was just bummed that Monday morning he couldn’t use the hot tub due to draining and cleaning. Otherwise everything was good. Love the price!”
