“It's out there from the basic touristy stuff so you are not at the Ritz but that is what you come here for. To get away and live with the land. Experience Costa. The river rushing through the property. Only negative was that me and some of my group wanted to do the zipline, canyoning experience and there was a miscommunication on how……

“The couple who owns the place was very nice, accommodating and friendly. You have to pay attention when you first arrive, as the area is not marked very well. the beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was perfect. ”

“Lovely quiet area to stay. We speak very little Spanish, they were so willing and patient with communication. The porch area was lovely. We enjoyed rocking and having an evening drink. There is a small store about a mile away. We went to bed early and were so surprised that 4 other couples were there for breakfast. Breakfast was a “typical” and very good. ”

“Clean rooms and friendly staff. La Fortuna is about a 30 min drive. The friendly (Giovanni and Louis) make the drive worth it. We were able to spot sloth from the facility (guess we were lucky). I would definitely recommend it if you are on a budget. ”

“Grds. tolle Unterkunft. Das "Iglu" war echt toll. Leider reicht der Vorrat an Warmwasser nicht und die Badewanne auf einmal zu füllen. Eher auf dreimal. Die Mitarbeiter waren OK, aber jetzt nicht hoch bemüht. Die Lage zum Poas Vulkan geht nicht besser”
