Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Chevy Chase Pavilion

8/10 Good
"The suites are quitw large. Free breakfasts are good, but happy hours have too few food items. The bathroom shower stall has a commendable number of safety rails and a seat to make showers quite safe. It would be helpful for the bathrooms to have fans and drying lights. The entrances close at 10;00 pm or 11;00 PM. There is a need for clearer instructions on how to get the attention of front desk on a different floor. Security should keep non-guests away from these doors"

The Henley Park Hotel

The Henley Park Hotel

8/10 Good
"It’s nice to see an Historic hotel still vibrant in downtown DC. I like the feel of the place. With that said it’s missing a lot of hotel amenities I’ve gotten used to….from a refrigerator in your room, a dresser for your clothes , a bottled water or two and an ice machine in the hallway. There were a lot of conveniences missing. Then there’s $59 a day for valet parking ….unless you were fortunate enough to find a spot on the street. I would shop around a little bit and read the amenities before choosing so you’re not disappointed."

"Courtyard view room, decent size, but no luggage stand, no desk. Bathroom was very small, nowhere to store bath accessories. The shower was good - water pressure like a fire hydrant. A lot of good things, but a few small disappointments. Overall, I would recommend."

"Love the super helpful and cheery staff. Clean, quiet, well appointed rooms right in the heart of DC. Nearby parking isn’t ridiculously expensive. Will be staying here again and again."
