“We had a wonderful time staying here for a week while house hunting in Anchorage. The one bedroom apartment was cozy and beautifully decorated. I loved the fireplace was automatically running to maintain the set temperature. We very much enjoyed the view especially at night when the city lighted up in dark. We rented an AWD and got stuck once in slush but Windy and her husband helped us to get uphill. We appreciated their help!”

“This was a great location to use for day trips out of Anchorage. It was close to everything we wanted to see and felt like a home away from home. The space was very clean and adorable. Don’t let the fact that the space is above a garage. It was never an issue. Would highly recommend this location and will definitely stay here again.”

“The unit was nice and clean. Easy walking distance to UAA and some restaurants. The large windows look out to woods so very private. There seems to be some disconnect between VRBO, VACASA, and the host. There was a new 3oz bag of good Ravens Brew coffee by the coffee pot but only 3 coffee filters for a 5 day stay. When I asked the host for 2 more coffee filters, they suggested that I purchase them as they do not replenish them, which was very weird as there was only 3 for a 5 day stay. No……

“House was just right. Our family stayed for 5 days. Great location. Nice Neighborhood and area. The house was clean. Owners were easy to communicate with. Easy to gain access. We had a great stay. Got to see some moose in the neighborhood as well!”

“The layout of the unit was good. We enjoyed having a gas stove and the bed was comfortable. The couch wasn't as easy to navigate, but it was okay. We did appreciate having an ottoman and end tables. I would have liked some grab bars in the shower, which is also quite small. However, the water pressure was excellent. We didn't have any place to hang up coats. A coat tree or a hook on the back of the door could solve this. Eating in was a challenge since there is no table and only one……
