“Such a delightful place to stay right on Wasilla Lake. We woke up to waterfowl chirping.... great way to start each day! The place was much more spacious than we had thought. Big rooms, huge living/dining/kitchen area. We enjoyed area sights like Hatcher Pass, the Nature Center at Eagle River (fantastic with easy walks and other trails!), Musk Ox Farm near Palmer and Thunderbird Falls Trail as well as nearby Eklunta Lake. “We stayed for just under a week in late June/early July. We weren’t sure what to expect with staying in an apartment on-property with the host, but it was good. Kids were playing in the yard occasionally, but not loud and gave us our privacy. Very clean apartment. Nice amenities. Washer/dryer was very helpful. Not overly clean, outside property was overgrown and uncared for and the trash dumpster was overflowing when we showed up. Countertops were sticky and musty smell throughout the house.
