“A friendly welcoming comfortable inn. Good value, very nice breakfast. All rooms ground floor in an annexe”

“The problems 1 having paid extra for room with a view of the harbour this was completely destroyed by the view if the adjacent flat roof broken tiles and multiple AC units. 2. No Ac unit in this room Windows that effectively didn’t open ( 1/4 in only) Late afternoon sun And someone had left the heated towel rail on Also a winter weight 10.5 tog quilt on the bed. No sheets So obviously the room never cooled down. Having 3 noisy fans was just an indication if problems and were of minimal help”

“The bed was super comfy and a king size. Towels were fluffy and big. Room was hot but it was the time of the heatwave and a fan was already in the room so all good. The breakfast was delicious and loads of it. The staff were also great, particularly Jimmy who showed us to our room, he served us a pint and said that if it was not up to standard, to let him know and he’d change it! All great customer service, all round from everyone at the Nags Head - well done all!”

“Nice country pub with a cozy atmosphere. Our room was great, really clean and well presented, comfy bed and pillows, en-suite bathroom with a good shower and a decent size. Owners provided a fan which was very welcome during this current heatwave. We were greeted by Jacob in reception, really helpful, polite and respectful and he showed us to our room. “Most things okay, but as is too often the case, the secure cycle storage requested and confirmed in the booking stage didn't exist! Really not happy leaving an irreplaceable bespoke bicycle in the cleaner's room!”
