This is still one of the spots we rave about after our trip. There is a great little coffee/tea/shop just at the end of the drive with a friendly proprietor and even friendlier doggo. ”

“The location of the cottage in Carloway is great for exploring the island of Lewis, it’s archeological sites, many walks and hikes. There is a well stocked shop in town for anything you need. The house is cozy and peaceful looking out on the loch in front. The kitchen has good supplies for cooking. It is the perfect place for rest and renewal in the beauty of the western isles, and also as a base for outdoor activities.”

“As somebody who has been visiting Harrs for 50 years but finding prices in the places we know so well rising beyond our means for every visit, this was perfect. Lovely house with loads of space for 4 adults, large living room, large well equipped kitchen and that amazing view from the dining room and living room. Less famous than Luskentyre and Seilebost, Northton is a great place to stay with amazing views, four deserted beaches in easy reach as well as wildlife (we saw otters, golden eagles……
