“I did a ton of research for our trip- me+3 teens. Wanted location that was midway and walkable for all the major spots- GG park to pier 39, Chinatown, Ferry Building, etc. Star Motel blew us away with the upgraded rooms, ample FREE parking spots, location, and flexibility for our check-out needs. 100% would recd to friends and stay again. We were in room 208- corner upstairs room- and loved it. Mini fridge, AC, new showers, sky light, and more. Loved our stay!”

“We love the place, room is spacious and maintained it clean. Also it is not right next the street, so you can’t hear the cars. The place is near a lot of good restaurants like Home plate. Although during our stay, we heard screaming and yelling from outside our room in the middle of the night. But will definitely will come back. ”

“My Beloved and I stayed in two other motels before discovering this one (on a 10 day visit from Hawaii, where we live...) I wish we would have discovered this place first because it was, by far, the best of the three! And so close to the airport made returning a rental car outrageously easy! Rooms were spacious and clean and well lit. I found the color schemes they used (in our room, anyway...) to be quite pleasing...calming, even. we only ended up staying one night here because our trip was……
