There was a pupusa and a taco vendor across the street, which is amazing, but other than that, it's in a pretty sketchy area. The hotel staff is awesome. "The front desk agent, when I checked in, was super nice. She went above and beyond. I booked a room type which at the end I didn’t need and she accommodated me to an ideal room type that was ready. "We really enjoyed our study. It is a simple and clean room but very spacious! The beds were extremely comfortable and I think the best part was it included a Japanese toilet! I did not connect the dots that this is a hotel that caters to people from Japan and it was a pleasant surprise! It was my first time experiencing a Japanese toilet! The staff were always very friendly and helpful. I will lovely stay there again if I'm back in LA."

It's very affordable, the room had a small bathroom so we had to get creative with our toiletries, but the bed was comfy., it had a fridge but no microwave in the room.
