“This home is such a gem! A historic home that is updated with many modern conveniences. We’ve been to MANY AirB&B’s and this home was probably the best equipped we’ve been in! Convenient to Boothbay and lots of downeast inlets and harbors. Very quiet, but close to groceries, food and farm stands. Our only regret was not staying longer- we would have loved to grill and use the fire pit!”

“Cabin was as advertised, very homey. Had one very minor problem with a faucet and literally within 5 minutes of notifying owner, someone was there to take care of it. And it took only 5 minutes. Wonderful service. Have recommended to friends.”

“The basic stuff was great. Check in was easy. Great area. We picked this cottage as it was close to several things we wanted to do. It is right across the street from the Railroad Museum which is awesome. Bring everything you think you might need. A few simple things would make this place a five. Coffee machine, hair dryer, thicker bigger towels, mat for your feet when you get out of the shower, extra toilet paper, extra towels(three small body towels, two wash clothes and a hand towel), maybe……

“Nice and cozy but need a place to unpack clothing. We stayed a week and had to live out of the suitcases… We did have a few bug issues but being n the woods some are to be expected. Outside the cottage needed to be hosed down from cobwebs, tree dropping, etc. but again being in the woods some is to be expected. Maybe put chair cushions on two bar chairs for comfort? Needed wash cloths for a week long stay. Overall we would stay again but plan better?”

“Superstar clean. Spacious. A lot of effort with detail-for example lots of night lights. Bright and sunny.We neede a particular size pot-owner made a great effort to provide.”

“All in all a pleasant place to stay; a bit noisy at night from the bands at the wharf and from early am truck traffic but private and close to shops & restaurants. The "easy chairs" are not so easy to get out of and too soft for back support for people who read a lot of books, but that's a minor quibble. We'd happily stay there next September if we can.”

“Overall our stay was nice. Any communication with the host was clear and quick with responses. Check-in was easy and clear. The living areas were comfy and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen essentials, outside of scissors and a drying dish rack. The bathroom was also well stocked with bathroom essentials. The cooling/heating/fan controls were a little finicky (eg. If you set to cool or fan it seemed to favor heating the spaces vs cooling). My overall gripe was with the hot tub.……

“This room in this home is basically a two season rental - spring or fall. This room does not have air conditioning. It was so hot during our July visit we couldn't stay the second night of our two-night visit. The squeeky broken ceiling fan did nothing to make it better. Other visitors have mentioned it was cold during their visit. There is no thermostat for the heat so you are relying on a remote thermostat somewhere else in the house to control the baseboard radiators. The location was……
