The staff were always helpful and courteous and the bartender was fantastic (try his special Negroni with red beer!) we stayed in an attic room with exposed beams and a skylight; you can stay in beautiful suites with original frescos and private canal balconies! "We loved the location of this property. We took a water taxi from the hotel to the train station. It was very convenient. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Our room was very spacious and clean. "

"Great, quiet location, unless your room is next to the canal, where you might hear boats passing by late at night. But honestly, that’s part of the Venice charm. The hotel used to be a convent, and it has a lot of character. Be prepared for some stairs, but there’s a handy back door for a quick shortcut. Overall, we loved our stay, one of the more affordable places we found. Plus, the breakfast was excellent!"
