"Overall this place was a great location and the decor was so cute. The quality of books and records were great, if I didn't have young kids this would have been such a fun place to read and zen out. I do however wish it was a bit more family friendly for younger kids. The stairs were ultra steep and not really safe for little ones (we had to buy a couple of baby gates and door latches). "A group of us went to celebrate a 40th birthday. This place was everything we were looking for. It was very secluded with no neighbors in sight! There were 11 of us and 2 dogs. We did a lot of fishing and paddle boarding (the boat and 2 paddle boards were provided at no extra cost!). Being from the city we all really enjoyed star gazing and we all saw shooting stars. "We travelled to the area for my daughter's graduation from NMU. This property was a beautiful relaxation retreat from the busy happens of the weekend. Whether it was relaxing outside by the fire or hanging in the basement/game room, it was the perfect location away from all the people in town for the weekend. Check-in/check-out was seamless and communication was easy. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to friends."
