Unpleasant Stay and Unwarranted Accusations
I recently had the opportunity to stay at Yvonne's property and, regrettably, my experience was less than satisfactory. Here's a breakdown of my concerns:
1. **Property Condition**: Upon our arrival, we found the house in a subpar state. The furniture was noticeably outdated, there were bugs in the cabinets, and several appliances, including the stove, were malfunctioning. The kitchen chairs were unstable, making it unsafe to use them.
2. **Communication**: While good communication between a host and renter is paramount, I was taken aback by Yvonne's approach. Throughout our stay and afterwards, I received unwarranted and baseless accusations. It's distressing to be accused of removing items from the property without any solid evidence. Moreover, issues like discarded paper in the outside trash bin, where trash rightfully belongs, shouldn't be a matter of concern.
3. **Professionalism**: It's essential for hosts to maintain a level of professionalism, especially when addressing personal matters. Unfortunately, Yvonne did not uphold this standard, crossing boundaries that should be respected in a host-renter relationship.
For context, Im a host and have been for many years and am well-aware of the expected standards when staying at someone else's property. It was surprising and disheartening to encounter such issues during our stay.
