“Like all the other reviews state, this place could use maintenance and a deep clean. Everything we touched was clean, the bathroom, shower, kitchen, sheets etc. It's a cute place in an old house. I love old historic houses. A few nights were pretty cold out and the heater had a tough time keeping up, so it was a bit cold inside. The place is with in walking distance of a grocery store, restaurants and the French quarter isn't a far walk away either. For the price I think is was a good value.”

“Immaculate and comfortable. Walkable to everything! Loved that our favorite breakfast place Ruby Slipper is right next door! Close to convenience stores to pick up water and snacks. Comfy beds, quiet in bedrooms, nice big bathrooms. Entire building was super clean and felt very safe. We were even allowed to check in early - very helpful! We had a lovely weekend and would definitely stay here again.”

The airline delivered it and the staff put it in our condo which we really appreciated. The location is great, close to lots of things. We walked everywhere. We will definitely return!”

“This was such a pleasant apartment . The two spacious bathrooms were clean and convenient. My husband and I took one bedroom and our 3 college kids slept in the other bedroom with king size bed. There is small couch in living room and two small chairs. The kitchen was open to the living room with countertop and benches. It was actually bigger than my home kitchen. Great location! Thank you”

“We stayed here for a week with our 2 college-age kids. The apartment was perfect for that -- with a queen bed for us and a bunk bed for our kids. It's in a much quieter neighborhood than the French Quarter or Marigny -- but still within walking distance. It was a perfect retreat when we needed a break from all the activity. Also -- Louis Armstrong Park is a few blocks away and often hosts free music festivals. There are 2 great cafes 2 blocks away, and great restaurants and live music available...

“The Location was great for us up to date unit. Magazine street with restaurants was a mile away. Parking is on the street but we got a spot right in front all the time. Unit was very spacious, with a patio. Grace the host was very responsive with whatever questions we had. However, the box springs on the 2 queen beds were very noisy when you moved around. It is on the first floor with people above, which could be noisy at times with the hardwood floors.”

“The place was nice and beautiful! Only issue I had was with the property manager. Was left a note under my door instead of the manager knocking on the door about something that I did not do. Felt that was very unprofessional. Then when I tried to get up with management about someone leaving a big bag of garbage at the door I couldn’t get ahold of anyone.”

On arrival, we were immediately impressed with the cleanliness, elegant updated decor and convenience to nearby restaurants, coffee shops, a grocery store - which came in handy while traveling with two little ones. “Arrived at the unit and was immediately greeted by 4 homeless adults that were living on the porch "to enjoy the AC leaking out from under the door" they have set home a home with mattresses on the sidewalk out front, and were actively using drugs in front of my family. Hosteeva told me just use the back door. LOL. Currently fighting the charge with Amex, zince Hosteeva wont refund my money.”

“Pros: Lugar muy amplio y céntrico, departamento muy equipado, a 20 min de bourbon st. Contras: si son mas de dos personas, el agua caliente no es suficiente, por si te quieres dar un buen baño.. será con agua helada. Indican que se puede pedir un check out extendido pero no te da opcion la liga. Asi que la salida es si o si a las 11 am. Ni pagando extra, adicional que los ventiladores de techo y la luz se prenden continuamente sin control, en la madrugada te pueden sacar un buen susto.”

“La televisión por cable no funcionó. Se reportó en recepción y no lo pudieron resolver. No limpiaron la habitación al día siguiente. Entiendo que no cambien las toallas pero, barrer y botar la basura lo deberían hacer a diario.”
