"A lovely little cottage on Uig Bay owned by the hoteliers of the Uig Hotel. A wonderful breakfast was included at the hotel a 10-15 minute walk away. Our room had an ensuite and a beautiful view of the bay. Parking was easily accessible. Information on dining, historic places, hikes, pubs, etc. was readily available from the hotel staff. Service & staff were exceptional. If there was ever a place to get lost & press the reset button, the Isle of Skye was it for us! Enchanting."

"This property is a former hunting lodge and has some fabulous character and charm with some updates that enhanced the property, including a beautiful restaurant offering locally sourced dishes. We tried the salmon, cullen skink, venison and beef, all of which were top notch. Wendy was our server and she went above and beyond to take care of us. We only stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer as the area and this hotel have so much to offer. We stayed in the Gate House which had two bedrooms, a sitting room, patios and a large bathroom, with a tub, shower and heated floors. The building and the decor were impressive and a perfect fit for our family. We enjoyed breakfast each day at the main lodge, which offered a number of breakfast options, all of which we enjoyed. The service and staff were beyond pleasant and helpful. This property is truly top notch. We would definitely book here again and hopefully for a longer period of time. "

"The hosts, Stuart and Janet, have an incredible desire to make sure that their guests are well prepared to enjoy the local culture by sharing their extensive knowledge of the area, and ensuring that guests are very well fed in the morning, having many delicious and home made options to select from. The rooms are spacious, very clean, fresh, and have many thoughtful touches not often found in the hospitality industry. The “sun” room is a wonderful place to end the day with your favorite beverage while making new friends and enjoying the views. There are ample family owned restaurants within a short walk. The Tables is also a great hub for day tripping all over Skye. Thank you Stuart and Janet for your warm hospitality!"
