“My 74 year old mom and my 19 year old son and I stayed comfortably in the tiny house. The stairs to the bed made it accessible for my mother and my fairly tall son was comfortable on the window seat bed. The accommodations were clean, neat, and new feeling. Communication with the host was impecable. I would highly recommend this experience!”

“If you’re looking to get away from the insanity of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, this is the place! Although the madness is not far away, the house feels quiet and secluded, and both a lovely beer garden and a well-rated brewery are just down the road in the opposite direction. The house itself is decorated beautifully. Despite being tiny, we counted 10 paintings of different sizes, plus lots of other artwork. It was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s part of a little community……

A comfy bed, personal fire pit, beautiful lighting, thoughtful landscaping, and fantastic decorating were just a few of the high points of our stay. This was also a great place for our dog. There was ample room for her to play and ease for taking care of her. She was actually welcomed as opposed to tolerated as a guest. Mountainshire is 5 star all the way!”

“We loved this little house. My nine year old was pretending to be a wizard all week. Every detailIs so thoughtful from the wands to the floating candles to the golden sink in the bathroom. The “shire” is very cute and set up in a way that encourages you to visit with the other guests. The common areas are thoughtfully arranged with really nice seating. Just a tiny note. The sleeping areas are small and may be difficult to access for someone with mobility problems because of sharp turns and……
