It was very conveniently located, super close to everything, including a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, bars, groceries, shopping, etc., and not too far from major sites (Plaza Mayor, Plaza Espana, Prado Museum, Royal Palace, etc.) and everything else. Everything was perfect, from meeting our host at check in and being supplied with numerous wonderful suggestions to the convenient location and beautiful neighborhood. While we definitely enjoyed our stay, here are the summary points (both good and needing improvement): Pros: Location is great; flat is very spacious; bathrooms were both clean and large; flat was very quiet despite being on the busiest street in Madrid; Challenges: communication was poor...ask several questions and then delayed response to one question; too difficult to find blankets; unable to access HVAC due to no remotes; wifi access instructions...
