“I am willing to pay extra for this place because it is walk in to the gondola. Except when the gondola doesn't run which seems to be about 50% of the time in my experience over the years. No biggy, in that case we have an alternative: drive to the CA main lodge ... except surprise surprise starting this year you need to reserve parking ... and of course 'on the day of' there is no more parking available ... so Heavenly says take the free shuttle bus ! Except when the gondola is closed there is...

“This house is perfect for a large group. Amazing views of lake tahoe, large hot tub on the deck, plenty of kitchen amenities for a full cooking experience, sauna, poker room and lots of space throughout to have your own private pockets. 10/10 recommend this house!”

“The property is beautifully maintained, in a gorgeous location and the host, Camila, is truly exceptional. Any issue or question, Camila was on top of it immediately. We even had an issue with another property we had rented very nearby and were not sure the unit would be safe for us to stay in due to a gas leak. Camila responded to my request for help if the safety issue wasn't resolved and made this unit available to us on short notice and I'm incredibly grateful for the piece of mind she gave...

“My husband and I rented this house for 5 days, 4 nights. We loved the house. The location to everything we did was great. We visited South Lake Tahoe and then all the way to Truckee. We stayed in the master bedroom on the 2nd floor but there were multiple rooms in the house. The downstairs is fairly small so I’m glad it was just he and I. “I booked this beautiful property for my 80th Birthday July 4th! During that week we had my family of two children and their families, four grandchildren, my Sister and Brother-in-law...plus a cousin and his wife, as well as my College roommate and her husband...all ages 18 to 86! The property is as beautiful as shown and loaded with amenities to accommodate all. It was truly a Fabulous Celebration...with lots of fun and even fireworks!!”

“This is a one-of-a-kind property. The views are spectacular, everyone was very comfortable as there is a lot of space, and it feels very private. The drive to South Lake Tahoe where all the stores and restaurants are is short and pretty. Last second there was an issue with some amenities that was out of the owner's control but they handled it promptly and professionally. I would definitely recommend the house and would come back for an another family trip.”
