CASCADE MOUNTAIN CHALET: Luxury, Hot Tub, Dog-Friendly, 1 mile to Whiteface and Lake, Sleeps 6, Sauna, & Fireplace

Welcome to Cascade Mountain Chalet, your luxurious cabin in the wood located just minutes away from Whiteface Mountain Resort, Lake Placid, and Lake Everest! Our beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-full bath vacation home sleeps up to 8 people (6 guests in 3 beds plus a queen-size foam mattress is available to sleep up to 2 children) and is dog-friendly, making it an ideal location for gatherings of family and friends, reunions, or corporate events. There is something for everyone to enjoy with a hot tub, Finlandia dry sauna, gas fireplace, fire pit, BBQ grill, deck, and huge yard.

The chalet's location is superb, close to skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, fishing, swimming, and other water sports, as well as shopping, dining, sporting, and cultural attractions. Each summer, the Ironman competition passes right through our town of Wilmington!

The bedrooms at Cascade Mountain Chalet are located on the upper floor, with one master bedroom featuring an ensuite bathroom. All three bedrooms have comfortable king beds, custom wood blinds, ceiling fans, and TVs. Closets enable you to unpack your belongings, and the wooded view from each bedroom is serene and delightful. A queen-size foam mattress is available to sleep up to 2 children.

The bathrooms in this beautiful chalet are spotlessly clean and comfortable. There are two full bathrooms, one on the main floor and the other on the upper floor. The Master bathroom upstairs features a mirrored medicine cabinet and lovely granite vanity with space to store your belongings. The main floor bathroom has an elegant pedestal sink and shower with a glass door. For your convenience, a full-sized washing machine and dryer are located in the main floor bathroom.

The open-plan living room/kitchen at Cascade Mountain Chalet is perfect for entertaining and spending quality time with family and friends. The living area features comfortable couches, a smart television to stream your favorite programs, an easy-on gas fireplace, tasteful recessed lighting, and a chandelier. Our kitchen is a chef's dream, with expansive granite countertops, a generous 6-burner stove, and a full complement of tools and appliances.

The outdoor living space at Cascade Mountain Chalet is sure to please with fantastic amenities to help you maximize your vacation enjoyment. Views of the expansive property and woods from the deck, an extension of the home's main level, are lovely. The deck features a 5-person hot tub, dining table, and chairs.

We welcome responsible owners with well-mannered dogs, with a maximum of 3 dogs allowed. We do not allow cats or any other animals other than dogs. We do not have video cameras at our properties, respecting your privacy.

For your comfort, from June 1st to September 15th, we are pleased to provide the upper-level bedrooms and the kitchen with air conditioning units.

We provide linens, including bedsheets, washcloths, and bath towels, and the following items are minimally supplied: toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry, and bath soap.

Cascade Mountain Chalet is minutes away from Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid and has endless outdoor activities. We are available for any questions or issues that may arise during your stay.

Absolute Perfection
This house was spotless when we arrived and looks just like the photos. It felt like home away from home. It was so roomy and comfortable. Each of the three bedrooms had a very comfortable bed and television. The living area was perfect for hanging out and has a very unique floor (loved it) that was easy to keep clean. The outside offers plenty of room for parking. We were too busy to enjoy the hot tub, sauna and firepit, but definitely make time if you can! The location is close enough to Lake Placid without the traffic, and would be the perfect location for skiing at Whiteface. Judi was super helpful, offering suggestions for local hikes and places to eat as well as letting us know what we may need to bring along for the trip. She also made sure we made it there and that everything was as expected, which was much appreciated. Our group included 3 adults and 3 dogs and all 6 of us really enjoyed our stay! THANK YOU JUDI!!!

Great job friendly rentals is a perfect location
The house is well situated in the Adirondacks for so many great things to go see. The house was lovely and super clean. The hot tub was a real nice bonus, right outside the kitchen door. One of the most dog friendly rentals we’ve had with no pet fee. The only thing to be aware of is there are two bathrooms, but one is on the first floor, which is a little inconvenient for the two bedrooms.

Girls Weekend!
Just got back from a long weekend stay here. There were 5 women who had a fantastic weekend away. The place was perfect. Location was great.. Close enough to town and to various hikes! Beds were super comfy! Hot tub and sauna were an excellent treat at an end of a day of hiking. Only 'complaint' was not enough mirrors when 5 women were getting ready to go out. lol All and all.. highly recommended!

Great house.
The house had everything you might need on your vacation. Well equipped kitchen with gas stove. Comfortable beds with TV in each bedroom for rainy days. Sauna and jacuzzi definitely a plus after a long hike Or a bike ride. The backyard offers privacy. Super close to Whiteface mountain and many local trails. Previous renters complained about lack of spices in the kitchen. I prefer it that way. Bring what you need take it home when leaving and that way the kitchen stays neat. The house was very clean, some basic cleaning products provided. I will definitely come back here.!

Perfect stay!
We went to Lake Placid for the Ironman. This was a perfect house for 6 adults and 2 dogs. 15 minute drive to the village. Close to Whiteface. Hot tub was key after the Ironman. Management checked in and were very friendly.

This was a great little house and property away from the hustle & bustle of the village, but only a short car ride away from everything. House was very clean; owner was very accessible and responsive. We had a wonderful time, as did my 12 year old golden retriever. Would definitely return.

Great house close to Whiteface mountain. Clean and well kept with very friendly owner that called to check in and welcome us when we arrived as well as after our stay to see how it went. Highly recommended and will definitely look to rent again in the future.

Quiet and comfortable stay
Our family of three and two dogs loved it here! The home was very clean, and the bedrooms were all comfortable. We appreciated the fans in the bedrooms and king size beds. The yard was more spacious and private than I thought it would be, and the hot tub was fantastic. The location was perfect for visiting Whiteface and Lake Placid, and the convenience store just a few minutes away was very well-stocked. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at this property. So much to do locally and so close to Lake Placid. Very clean and updated. 6 Adults fit comfortably. Close to the Flume which was fun to swim and very scenic. Enjoyed the fire pit at night. Highly recommended!
