Parking on-site, you pay a fair price to have a safe place to leave your car. Breakfast was tasty and the owners were helpful and even lended us power converters to charge our phones. It’s a big old house, it can be a bit echoy but have to say the owner was very welcoming, quick efficient and understanding. The room was comfortable and adequate for our needs. I’d say to anyone looking for cheap, cheerful and close to everything then this is your hotel. I suspect some reviewers need to remember you get what you pay for and in London for these prices is nothing short of a miracle! The breakfast was very pleasing with fresh fruit, further options and continental provisions. Lovely warm comforters were on the beds; which we needed as the room was quite cold in the evening. For breakfast you could have soft or hard boiled eggs with cereal, lunch meats, cheese, toast, yogurt, muffins and fruit. Having a car park is a bonus in this area, but watch out for the tree on the way in! The friendliness is terrific from all the staff. Then you meet the owner! Quite a character, but in the nicest possible way. This is a small family run place, so don't go expecting the corporate blandness of the chains.
