Multrees Walk Tours

A very pleasant weekend was ruined on the last night. We were the only guests on the ground floor, (room 201). There were 2 parties in adjoining function rooms, twice I asked to be moved as we kept awake with the noise. There was people leaning against our room door, even trying our door as there was toilets right next to our room. People were mistaken our room for the toilet. I got the receptionist to see for herself, and there was a mother and child sat in our doorway, they had to move for me to gain access. All we got was an apology, but nothing could be done about it. The floor outside our room was tiled creating even more noise. No one should be allocated that room when parties are planned. As I said earlier, a good weekend was ruined.

The Scotsman Hotel was very classy. Charming atmosphere. Room was large and comfortable with many amenities. Good location, Royal Mile, Scots Monument, train station, shops and restaurants steps away. Staff very friendly and helpful.
